Everybody loves live jam bands, they are amazing — a chance to hear music you know and like performed in a cool OR unusual way, for you AND your friends who like the music to HEAR in public.

But what if jam band albums could be amazing, too?

This is the problem that 0g.software’s Open Source Jam Band Software — also informally or casually referred to by it’s 302 Temporary Redirect domain name, jamband.net — aims to solve. While a soft launch is planned, in the form of You can Blame a Person for Talking by Guitar Shoes, exclusively for Basic Square subscribers in 2025 (with a wider release possible in future years), it’s never too early (or late!) to start gearing up and gathering friends to “call dibs on” or claim their favorite instruments to play in your new jam band group, as well as start figuring out if you will be memorizing the material to improvise with by ear or if you would prefer some sort of written transcription.

This page will catalog official Open Source Jam Band Software album releases, whether produced by Guitar Shoes & Graham Smith or not. Please be respectful and share the information far and wide.

Huge Big Band, the first Open Source Jam Band Software album, is scheduled to release on February 6, 2026.
